Interview with Stephanie Rapp

Stephanie Rapp (class of 2021) was a former Beautiful Social Research Collaborative consultant and Foley Fellow. Stephanie currently works at Harborside as a Digital Ad Operations Specialist. Harborside is a publishing company that focuses on oncology. In her position, Stephanie works with agencies that make the creatives for their company to post on their website or include in their daily and/or weekly newsletter.

Then, I had two questions for Stephanie. My first one being: “What skills or any notable experiences did you gain through Beautiful Social?”.

Stephanie said she definitely gained valuable communication skills through Beautiful Social. She thinks Beautiful Social helped her strengthen her voice and helped her be able to take a stand in the workplace. Stephanie also feels that Beautiful Social helped her become a powerful leader.

Then I asked my second question: “What do you think Beautiful Social helped teach you about what you like or don’t like when looking at a company to work for?”.

Stephanie said she never intended to go into anything medical. She originally planned to go into a business that was more sports focused. However, she feels in her current position that she is still helping people like she did when she was in Beautiful Social. Stephanie learned through Beautiful Social that she wanted to help people in some way even if it wasn’t for a non-profit.
